BA B.ED Program at IPL
Salient Features
1. Experiential learning of graduate teachers and their transformation into agents of positive social change. 2. Learning effective utilization of technology in teaching practice and its transfer into school. 3. Continuous supervision and evaluation of pre service teachers through classroom observations, professional mentoring, comprehensive feedback and other means. 4. Reflective practice for improvement of thinking skills and the quality of their education and training . 5. Command over content and pedagogical skills in different school level subjects.. 6.Continuous provision for school based practicum to apply and improve knowledge and skills learned ( Innovative schools - govt. and private). 7.English as a medium of instruction. 8.Personality development and character building to promote values and ethics for professionalism in education.

Scheme of Studies

The program is affiliated with the University of Education and is based on a two year course work followed by a formal teaching practice and internship. The system of examination will be annual as required by the University of Education and will consist of two annual exams, one at the end of each academic year.

Optional Courses:
Students can choose one of the following optional courses:
Gender Studies
Fine Arts
Human Rights
Pakistan & World Heritage
Socail change & Development in Pakistan

Note :
The Student is not allowed to opt any subject as optional which he/she is studying as elective.
