Title:  Manager Accounts & Finance

Job Description:

  • To manage the Finance & Accounts functions in accordance with the finance policy and departmental operating manual.
  • To provide financial information and advice as and when desired by the Management.
  • To prepare the operating & capital budgets. Monitor the expenses by designing appropriate controls & checks so the all expenses must remain within the budgetary limits/controls.
  • To establish & maintain relations with external agencies, banks, financial institutions & auditors.
    To arrange & supervise annual audit timely.
  • Review audit results, evaluates the findings, any kind of lapses and present his report and recommendations for any improvements needed in the current financial procedures to the Management.
  • To arrange all tax deductions/payment record in accordance with the appropriate Income Tax Laws.
  • To review financial statements, books of accounts, fixed assets, costing records etc., in order to ensure that the accounts are being maintained in accordance with the finance policy and all government applicable laws, SRO?s issued by the FBR from time to time and banking rules & regulations.
  • To maintain close liaison with Internal Auditor for the compliance of financial controls & implementation of Internal Audit recommendations.
  • To prepare statutory periodic reports and returns accurately.
  • To prepare & file monthly & annual Income Tax Returns timely.
  • To ensure all incoming/outgoing payments are processed in accordance with the laid down procedures.
  • To plan, organize & proceed in accordance with the work priorities.
  • To arrange data entry and journal vouchers in to computer system on regular basis.
  • To arrange accounts reconciliations on regular basis. To arrange timely completion of book keeping, cash books and accounting tasks.

Title:  IT Coordinator

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in windows 2000/2003/XP workstations and servers Familiar with software development life cycle and hands on Local Area Networking Must have in depth knowledge of Network Security and User / Group Policies. Ability to provide implementation support & coordinate among team members of ITA. Ability to install and manage computer hardware, software, network and E-mail processing.

Job Description:

  • Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan
  • Manage Enterprise servers, Active Directory, PDC, BDC and Anti-virus software deployment etc
  • Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support)
  • Supports server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications
  • Management, administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN
  • IT capacity building of ITA staff by continues support.

Title:  Manager Early Childhood Development

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Qualifications: BCS/BSCS/MCS

Experience: 2 years

Required Skills:

  • The incumbent should have a Masters degree in social sciences and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the development sector; however a specialization in ECD/ECE would be preferred.
  • Candidates with good written & spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills & knowledge of MS Office, flexibility to travel and ability to work in a diversified team environment are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

  • Proposal writing and budgeting of new projects and its activities in accordance with the requirement.
  • Provide technical, organizational and capacity building support in implementing project and regular monitoring & evaluation.
  • Assist in liaising with donors and partners related to the early childhood development projects of ITA.
  • Coordinate timely preparation and submission of quality narrative and financial reports.

Job Description:

  • Progressively hold annual childrens literary festivals CLFs) in different cities/towns of Pakistan in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Hold planning and partnership meetings with other stakeholder as a key partner for detailed work plans up to the hosting of the CLF.
  • Prepare a detailed program /menu of activities for CLF for which and mobilize the relevant people/authors/groups - each segment will in turn have different set of activities/detailed plans of action for implementation at the CLF.
  • Introduce each year 10-15 new childrens books/authors in local, national and English languages.
  • Organize a panel discussion on childrens literature in different languages in Pakistan given the provision for mother tongue teaching in the National Education Policy 2009.
  • Popularize school libraries (all levels) through publishers library displays at the CLFs as affordable packages accessible to school systems (public and private) Mobilize and invite a range of publishers to display options for school libraries.
  • Run small workshops on managing and optimizing school libraries.
  • Assist in building school libraries.
  • Provide opportunity of introductions and networking for schools/publishers for setting up school libraries and their continuous replenishment.

Description

Manage and coordinate pre-service and in-service programs. Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the Institute consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the Institute including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, and discipline systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations, and emergency procedures. Establish the annual master schedule for instructional programs, ensuring sequential learning experiences for students consistent with the Institute's philosophy, mission statement and instructional goals. Supervise the instructional programs of the Institute, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes (teaching, as duties allow) on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development. Ensure compliance with all laws, board policies and civil regulations. Report writing, documentation and proposal writing of the Institute. Reports regarding attendance, future staffing allocations, demographics, supplies, curriculum, scheduling, discipline and performance. Communicate to parents and the community regarding the Institute. Manage certificate/diploma programs with close coordination with Plymouth State University (PSU),USA and others.
